Bill Zalakar, Executive Director of the Long Island Farm Bureau, will outline the ways that agriculture and agribusiness have shaped Long Island. Farmers, equipment manufacturers, distributors, retailers and consumers have all played crucial roles in the growth of this vital industry. Mr. Zalakar brings more than 45 years of diverse experience in the agricultural industry, horticultural business, regulatory affairs, and personal management.
